Why don't topics bump up to the top of this message board?

Why don't topics bump up to the top on this message board when someone comments on them? Most message boards do. On this message board, the topics just keep sinking to the bottom, even if someone makes a new comment on them...

They don't? They sure have when I've made comments on this board.

The only reason I can think of for it sinking back down is the poster who replied deleted their post .It will then go down to the date of the last most recent post.

I don't mean the replies to a topic, but the actual topic itself. On most message boards, if you reply to a topic, it bumps that whole topic back up to the top.

There, see, I commented on this topic 13 seconds ago, but the topic about the LuckyLoser episode and the topic about the Runaway Corpse are still above this one...

The real issue is that on some boards when there is a new message on an older thread, the thread remains buried and the new message goes unnoticed.
