First of all, David (the child) should have been older. Don't the writers have children? Even back in the 50's when everyone was more relaxed about children and guns, I can't image that a child of five would be allowed to have a loaded gun under his pillow. Or that it would be fun to sleep outside all night. And I can't image that anyone would send their five year old child off to camp!! And when Paul went to the camp to find David all the other kids looked much, much older. It was all very odd.

Really an odd episode apart from that gun episode. There was the brutal sucker punch of Rob't Rockwell at the beginning, the shooting of the pet dog. Strange characters starting from the murder victim to the derelict baby sitter and the creepy looking Mr.Jennings.
