Perry's Private Ingress/Egress

Perry's clients occasionally leave his office surreptitiously through a private exit, assumably to the building hallway. But I think Paul Drake makes his weekly entrance by a knock on that same unlocked door. So, do those clients actually leave through Paul's adjoining office, not a hallway?

reply

Paul has a separate office. Perry's back door leads to the hallway.

Sometimes Paul knocks and walks in. Other times Paul knocks and either Perry or Della opens the door. Whether the door is locked from the outside is variable. And then sometimes this door is used so that a client can make a quick exit before another client (who would not enjoy meeting the first client) enters.

Right, it looked to me that all of this pedestrian traffic came through the one door. But the first response to my initial post believes there were 2.

I have seen this happen many times on episodes
