An interesting side note during this episode. As everyone knows now that Mr Burr was gay. During the scene in the beginning, where Perry is in his office. Della walks in and says;

Perry I know you are quite busy but there is a young couple in the outer office. They would like to see you. They say its very urgent.
Perry responds " I am, quite busy."
Della then tells Perry "She's quite pretty"
Perry answer is " I don't suppose you noticed what the young man looked like."

So isn't this a very subtle way to let others know he is gay? Or am I just looking at things not there? Either way, gay or not, I love Mr Burr and I believe him one of the all time great actors. It was just so obvious to me. You thoughts?

I think he is implying that Della would check out the guy.

I would normally agree, but it was the way he uttered the line that made it ambiguous.

Great insight. But I think like everyone else, Della was just letting Perry know he had a important client and emphasize her beauty to get him to meet with her.
