TCOT Capering Camera Real Murder

Karyn Kupcinet who play the sister of the defendant was strangled before the episode originally aired. Her murder in West Hollywood, less than a week after JFK was assassinated, was never solved. An actor then fairly well-known who knew her was not charged. Her father, Irv Kupcinet, the renowned Chicago newspaper columnist, never shared his suspicions publicly.

Her father, Irv, was a newspaper legend in Chicago. In the mid-50s, his Sat night TV talk show went on to all hours of the morning with top guests in the world of politics and entertainment. The confrontation between Black radical Stokely Carmichael and American Nazi Party leader, George Lincoln Rockwell, had to be seen to be believed.

Irv was also a ref of the 1940 NFL title game, the most lopsided score in any NFL game--
Chicago Bears 73 Washington Redskins 0.

reply

That was very sad.

And more sadly, there were more actors and actresses who never saw their performance as they suffered a sudden death prior to the airing of their episode.

Go Redskins!!

reply

More sadly? Being murdered at age 22 is sad enough.
