Clint Eastwood played Red Hardigan, a gunslinger, in Duel at Sundown along with James Garner and Jack Kelly as Bart. Very good episode.

The character had Dirty Harry tendencies in that he constantly did things to get under Maverick's skin. He mispronounced his name as Maverack among other things.
Made me wonder if perhaps the scriptwriter for this episode may have been used in the Dirty Harry movies of the future.
Really would have topped it off if he had asked Maverick,
"Do you feel lucky? Well, do you, punk? Go ahead, Make my day!!"
