I am curious to know what are people's favorite MAVERICK episodes and WHY.

shareMost of my favorite episodes feature both Bret and Bart, like Pappy, Shady Deal at Sunny Acres, and Two Beggars on Horseback. Garner and Kelly had tremendous chemistry together.

I would have to go with those three along with Hostage!, which was the first time we see Bret and Bart together, and Last Wire From Stop Gap, which featured a great pairing with Beau and Bart.
shareNo doubt about it: Gun Shy, the take off of Gunsmoke, with Marshall Matt Dooley taking an instant dislike to Bret. "Chester" walked across the jail house floor with a very exaggerated limp. Bret said "New shoes?"

Gun Shy. just winding up now on COZI TV. It's the funniest, and the one I remember best. Outstanding guest cast, too.
