Who Was the Better Other Maverick - Beau or Brent?

Bret or Bart is a comparison that will never end (as long as people remember this show, anyway), but at least both truly had their time to shine. But what about Beau (Roger Moore) or Brent (Roger Colbert)? Who of the shorter-lived Mavericks do you think was the best?

Maybe this isn't a fair comparison since Beau had 14 episodes and Brent only had 2, but I'm curious to hear your thoughts.

Personally, I loved Roger Moore as James Bond but he never fully clicked with me as Maverick. I'm not even sure why. He was okay, but I don't feel like he was comfortable in the role. I thought Roger Colbert showed promise. It's clear he was meant to be a Bret clone and you can even imagine it's James Garner if you squint. But I thought he was truly likable in the role. I think he could have done well had he been asked back for Season 5 - hopefully with his own costume! So, short answer, I liked Brent better than Beau. How about you?
