I can think of a few that should have been included, but weren't. How about "Thou shalt not rape", or "Thou shalt not start wars", or "Thou shalt not put anchovies on pizza"?

Not sure where you're from, but if you've ever had a spectacular cheese pizza in New York, New Haven, Boston, (northeast really) where there are a lot of Italians, you've probably had anchovies and didn't know it. You would be surprised how many top pizzerias melt in anchovy filets into their tomato puree before putting it on the pizza, even cheese or just a plain tomato pie (no mozz). It's a real umami bomb. If you taste anchovy directly, then too much was used.

The Romans had a sauce called garum which was made from salted fermented anchovies.

In a good Caesar dressing, the anchovy is clearly there, but when added to pizza, you don't directly pick it up, but it adds wonderful notes. In place of anchovies, you can use garum (if you can find it) or the similar fish sauce.

I use that trick in many dishes I make, and I keep Red Boat or Thai Kitchens fish sauce in my fridge (a top Asian chef told me that trick - so I will use fish sauce in place of anchovy paste when I don't want to saute what I'm making to melt the anchovy filets. Fish sauce is great in soup other than clear broths like chicken or beef. When I make pasta fagioli or lentil, I add fish sauce directly to it.
