"Just give me its estimated value"
"About $2 million."

Just finished watching this with a large crowd at the New Beverly. The audience howled at that line- it got the biggest laugh, for sure.
share$2 million in 1956 was the equivalent of about $18.5 million today. Modern audiences are not able to enter into the world of movies of a different period, and laugh inappropriately in the wrong places. The great thing about large-screen high-definition TVs is that they have made it unnecessary to see movies with a crowd.
