I guess this has been asked before but if you accept the movie ending and they round up the Pod People, what exactly did they DO with them? Kill them? Dissect them?

I think the town where the pod people would be become a sort of prison to study and create some sort of society for the pod persons to live.

The government would probably want to "study" them- and of course we know where that leads! With the actions coming from the White House these days you have to be worried!
