Love the guy - he was always believable. I'll bet he would have made a great teacher in real life.

Yes, he's absolutely convincing and great to watch. In my eyes a much more interesting actor than John Wayne (and he should have done something for Hitchcock in the fifties)

He seems completely at home in BJ, and I agree he would have made a very good teacher.

if he had been my teacher i would never have mitched school, he is my favourite actor and i think he was under rated as an actor which is a shame

He must have been a good father, too, because I have met his son, Peter Ford, and he is very, very nice, and very proud of his father and mother, Eleonor Powell.
