SILLY aspect of this GREAT MOVIE!

The party where all the women disapprove of Jane's "May-December" romance with Rock only works because most of the women there are a good decade or two (or three) older than Jane!

Had the party been filled with true peers of Jane Wyman, Rock would not have looked out of place.

"Don't call me 'honey', mac."
"Don't call me 'mac'... HONEY!"

Yes...right away I was noticing how many of those people were not her age or younger, so it was a little too obvious that most of the casting was to make "Ron" look out of place.

Yup Rock was 30 and Wyman was just 38.
