Are you Canadian? Back then there was only CBC & CTV, no US channels unless you were on the border.

Plenty of US shows never aired. Lots of British shows though. Basic cable was great improvement.

yes. i think that maybe the case. i have come across a number of series that i don't think ever made it to canada.
