Can anyone advise who the actor portraying Sheriff Charlie Bassett in Dodge City is? It looks like Tom Atkins but not sure

In the 1956 episode of WYATT EARP -"So Long, Dora, So Long", Sheriff Charlie Bassett was portrayed by Bing Russell, father of Kurt Russell.
