Classic Western series

This is a great series. It had very good writing and drew just enough inspiration from historical facts to make it very interesting.

I just started watching it a few months ago. I'm glad I discovered it. But what a corny theme music.

I absolutely love the theme song. Something about 50's barbershop quintet acapellas just does it for me. I also love the lyrics. I love all the music in those classic Westerns.

The technical adviser for the series was Stuart Lake, who knew Wyatt for the last four years of his life. The series used the title of Lake's biography of Wyatt, and in its general outline it reflected the real story of Wyatt, especially the last few episodes narrating the buildup to the gunfight at the OK Corral.

Close. Arthur Lake was the actor who played Dagwood Bumstead in the Blondie movies. Stuart Lake was the Earp biographer.

Thanks for the correction. I've changed it in my post.
