The Big Con episode
I am a big Gunsmoke fan , and I really enjoyed this episode.
Having said that , I did find something odd about it . Dodge is a cattle town with a lot of gambling with many poker players. Now , yes ,four Aces is a great hand and hard to beat but any body that has played the game knows that it can be beat by a straight flush.
Okay ,so maybe the banker is not much of a poker player - But , Chester & Doc know the game. Now , Papp was left in charge but it seems to me Matt and Chester would have tried harder to dissuade him - of course it wouldn't have fit the story line.
