That whole scene when they "meet" was awkward and Ruth's memory issue never gets resolved. Does anyone have any idea why the writers chose to give the leads a back-story that only one of them remembered?

shareAHHHHH, OK, thanks. I did only see it by watching the MST3K movie. The film jumped around a lot, I should have figured that T.I.E. couldn't have been THAT badly edited.
shareI highly recommend the real version. It's *excellent* and for sale at Amazon. Probably other places too, but as a rule I prefer tried-and-true stores. (You can luck into some good stuff bootleg, but you have to be prepared to sacrifice quality for availability).
