Does every copy of this movie have the blue faces scene?

So, does every copy of this movie have the one scene where all four characters faces are blue? It's on Metaluna soon after they arrive...to meet the supreme ruler. Everything and even all their faces are blue. Before they enter and after they leave that place the color returns to normal. Is this a flaw in the Technicolor in the negative this was taken from? It looks like the red element is missing. I've noticed this flaw in every DVD and Blu Ray copy.
I've got a Blu Ray copy and if the whole scene is in blue even in that I'm wondering if every DVD, VHS tape and Blu Ray copy has the blue faces scene?
I cannot remember if this scene was blue in the original theatrical release of the movie, which I saw at a drive in theater the year it was released. I think it ranks right up there as one of the all time best classic science fiction moves ever made. Forbidden Planet is number one of course.

I also have the blue faces scene on my DVD. My theory is that this was done on purpose. They may have done this to establish that although the Metalunans look like humans, they really are different from us.
