actually i can't help but like the ed wood movies after seeing the 1994 bio pic by the same name, i'm sort of with heelmaster2000 on this, the dvd i got of this was calling it "one of the most popular classic sci-fi of all time" and went on and on building it up, so i expected something spectacular, but i don't see what all the hype was about... it looked more like something you find in a pack among other sci-fi flicks rather than a single dvd with much work put into it, checking around this board it seems it had been hard to find for a long while, the dvd i'm describing is region 2, 4, 5 pal release. the opening of the actual movie feature is like that of "the twilight zone", i didn't know what to expect of this, i had never heard of it or any of the players in it, it's not your average b movie sci-fi, it looks fairly expensive shot in colour, it also says on the dvd that the special effects were two and a half years in the making. these guys with foreheads like the family in "coneheads" is sort of a giveaway, it says on this board that this was actually inspiration for the coneheads movie. pretty neat photography and colours after starting off as a regular looking movie.
