Similiar movies - can you ID?

Can't ID any of your movies but am trying to figure out the title of one I liked. It was on tcm a couple of years ago but I can't remember the name. It was aliens who turned people to ash. There was a family and the teen aged girls boyfriend. But that's all I can remember!! Help!

Well THAT one was 'Bug' with Bradford Dillman, derived from an odd novel called 'The Hefaestus(sp?) Plague'

The guy on a rock with the sky on fire? Could that be the 'Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea' movie?

Not much to go on there, mate.

The first one certainly does sound like `Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea', the movie starring Walter Pidgeon.

The second's too vague for me. Are you sure it was New York? And what did the monster look like?

The third one with the normal-sized ants might be `The Naked Jungle' with Charlton Heston, or more likely `Phase IV'. The latter is a little-known, but clever and creepy sci-fi.

Number 4 definitely sounds like `Bugs' to me.

That's my best shot for now.

I think the little girl/NY/stomped film may have been "The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms."

Phase IV? Normal sized (regular)! Ants,millions of ém sucking someone into Sand pit.

PHASE 4 is the film with the small ants from about 1974, the monster with the girl screaming is the Colossus of new york 1958, guy on rock might be voyage to the bottom of the sea 1961
