I don't mean to imply that this movie isn't PERFECT, because it CLEARLY is. That said, I would like to see a remake of it, but not a movie remake...I'd like to see Them! remade as a season of "24".

Nope, not 24, CSI. Grissom is the bug expert and it would translate better as a CSI 2 part episode. I can just see Jack Bauer with a gun to the ants head screaming "WHERE"S THE QUEEN!!!".

Why not take it in a completely different direction and create a new genre; the horror wildlife-documentary? David Attenbrough could have easily passed as the proffessor.
