It Came From The Desert
I saw this wonderful movie when I was a child. Some years later, I discovered a marvellous game inspired in this film: It Came From The Desert. Do you know this computer game?

shareThe Desert... Unchanged for millions of years. Yet witness to the biblical prophecy come true that One day... The meek shall inherit the earth.
Err.. something like that.. it's been a long time. I forget who made it. I had it on the amiga but didn't get too far...(it had an error on the disk Heh)

You can have a look in these two sites:

There was a second part of the game named It Came From Thee Desert II: Antheads.
Great games.
They made that game for the Turbo Duo. I own the game and the system and let me tell you...the game is nothing like the movie 'THEM'. In my opinion its way better! Anyways just thought I'd put my two cents in. Oh...there are also several versions of the game so the one from cinemaware isn't even close to what the game for the Turbo Duo is all about. The game features full motion video and has a kickin soundtrack. Anyways hope this helps.
shareI only know the version of Cinemaware for Commodore Amiga 500. That's the one I played when I was a teenager. The music, the image...everything was great.
I don't know the other versions, but I guess they must be more amazing.
Thanks for the info.
The Amiga version blew the PC version away millions times and over! I was extremly impressed by it's cartoonish graphics in 1990. Even today it's a very enjoyable game. I recommend all fans of this movie to download an amiga emulator and download this game!
shareThere was a top down shoot 'em up for the SNES (or Super Famicom depending on the part of the world you're from) called "Zombies ate my neighbours."
It featured various spoofs of horror films including a tribute to "Them" and other large insect films with a level full of them that you had to take out with bazookas.

used to have it, was a good game, would love to see a similar style game now on say the 360
shareThat was a great game, I played it in my pre-teen years over and over again. Never found out how to beat the ants back then.
As an adult I've played it on an emulator and learned how to win the game. Still very difficult though.
Great game.
