Warner will release this film in Blu-ray on October 6th, 2015. It will be released both as a stand-alone disc and as part of a Special Effects box set (along with THE BEAST FROM 20,000 FATHOMS and two other titles). Hopefully, THEM will be in widescreen format for the first time on home video.
shareIt would be great if they restore it to the original theatrical version including the cut scene after release of the effects of radiation on the ants. It's been rumored some private collectors have the full print. It's about 2 minutes of footage. See alternate versions on IMDB
