Lots of well know faces in bit parts. Fess Parker, Olin Howland(first victim of the Blob),Dub Taylor, Richard Deacon and even John Berardino(Dr. Steve Hardy of General Hospital and a member of the 1948 Cleveland Indians World Series champions).

John Beradino is also the cop who arrests Cary Grant for drunk driving in "North By Northwest", impatiently calling up Cary's mother since Cary is too drunk to dial.

OP missed Leonard Nimoy, a leading man rather than a character actor later in his career, but so was Fess Parker.
