There was also the guy at the beginning who pulls up and asks the cop for directions and the name of the town. Cop says, "Suddenly," and they have a little chat. When the car pulls away camera pans to a GIANT sign 5 feet away saying WELCOME TO SUDDENLY. Clearly the driver was blind.
