Did anyone else but me notice that Aunt Anastacia's daughter, "Poor Grace", evidently a spinster, had a bit of a mean streak? Notice the quick scene of her on the porch, obviously smiling and enjoying it when Nicky runs over her mothers roses. Priceless!
If you can't fix it, fix it so nobody else can either!
