Not sure how old these previous postings are re: the movie. I got on to amazon.com today and registered my e-mail address for when this movie is released. There was nothing definite, but it sounded fairly hopeful.

Go to davisdvd.com, they are reporting that Paramount will release "The High and the Mighty" (along with several other John Wayne films) in May 2005.
