Paramount has set the date for 'The High and the Mighty'

And it's August 2, 2005. The 50+ year wait is finally over. "Island in the Sky" will be released at the same time. Cover shots and DVD details are available at the official Paramount website.

It's about time !!!!!!!!!

All those overpriced horrid VHS copies on Ebay will finally be put in the trash can where they belong.

2 disk set - looks like tons of special features. Widescreen VERY reasonable price It was worth waiting for.

This is going to be great watching this on my projector....

A very reasonable price for this film and Island in the Sky....after more than 50 years....my calendar is booked on August 2, 2005....the wait is soon to be over, truly wonderful news.
