High and the Mighty soon to be available on DVD from Paramount Home Video on August 2, 2005.

I heard it was coming in May, 2005 and, apparently it is not. How sure are you it will be released August 2, 2005?

Positive....go to www.paramount.com and then to their home entertainment section. This classic and Island in the Sky are to be released August 2nd. You can already pre-order both.

The High and the Mighty is already listed as among the top pre-seller DVD on various websites. DVD Planet, DVD Empire, and Laser Edge have listed it as such. Not bad for an old classic movie, eh??

Costco also has some DVD's packaged saying it is going to be released this summer. And gosh, with all those great movies coming out this summer. NOT!!!

Just saw an ad, these two movies will be on AMC in late July, 2005.

I saw an advertisement on AMC that they plan to broadcast The High and The Mighty. I did not see the scheduled date of the broadcast, but they mentioned in the promo that the film has been re-mastered.
I look forward to seeing this film again. Is August 2, the date we can purchase the film from Amazon?
