Good movie but....
I enjoyed Island in the Sky much more. I remember these were the only two John Wayne movies never released in video or DVD. They got released the same day and I watched them both. I really enjoyed Island in the Sky more. It had a great story, plenty of suspense and a great cast.
High and the Mighty has kind of a soap opera feel to it and not enough adventure and suspense for me. I did enjoy seeing John Wayne in a different role.
