Aaron Sorkin Esque Script in Parts

I have just sat down and watched this movie for the first time, really enjoyed it, much better than I was expecting from a supposedly 'mid range' Hitchcock (that I had been led to believe it was).

What really impressed me was how sharp and snappy the dialogue was throughout most of the movie, particularly that 22 mins of Tony meeting and then getting Swan to do his bidding. Brilliant script, staging and performance there, really pulled me in....Tony is one of the great villains for sure, and the script there felt like Aaron Sorkin at his best, so Sharon and sappy, and completely character revealing.

Grace Kelly and the Inspector were terrific too.

I was surprised at dark how dark the murder was, and how dark things got for Grace.

And the Inspector's reaction to Policeman taking the little handbag down the station was hilarious (and actually quite possibly true of the time)

Nice one Hitch, a Dark, Twisty Thriller, very entertaining movie.
