'Dial M' Movie Cast Is Chosen by Hitchcock
Hollywood---Ray Milland has been signed by Warner Brothers for the leading role in "Dial M for Murder," the studio's picturization of the current stage success to be filmed by Alfred Hitchcock. The picture will be filmed in three dimensions and in Warner Color.
John Williams, whose portrayal of Inspector Hubbard in "Dial 'M' for Murder" is one of the highlights of the current New York stage season, will enact his Broadway role in the Warner Brothers picture. Williams was chosen for the role on the recommendation of Hitchcock, who saw his performance at the Plymouth theater in New York City.
