when the dark haired woman with the torpedobreasts bathing suit is swimming and doing zygfield follies mk 2 why is she unabashedly unafraid of piranas or aligators or possibly crocodiles? The other woman is the only person who ever expresses caution about what is down there.
also i want to know is the creature a reptile or amphibian or mammal or a cryptid specides and not any of those 3? because why would a reptile or amphibian want to mate with a mammal? Dont most amphibians reproduce outside the body anyway? Since the creature is both aquatic and terresterial I assume he's an amphibian? Wouldnt he deposit his sperm into a shallow pool to mix with expelled eggs? why is he into women?

reply

He is the "gill man," as goes the dialogue in the movie. The legend says he is a man-fish being, so he is humanoid, but with gills. Therefore, human females, especially those with torpedo bras, attract. I don't know where he hides is important parts in that scaly body, but he clear is eager to use it.

First question is there is only one woman on the expedition. She tells David to be careful, but stupidly goes for a few laps by herself.
Second question: no one is sure what he is, but he's mostly curious. Or lonely.

I like your thought process zyggums. The form of the creature is unlike any known amphibian or reptile. As it can walk upright on two legs, I would say that it is some form of a primate. However, do we even know the sex of this creature or is it just assumed that it is a male of his species? Are we really sure it wants to mate or are we just projecting our own feelings for Miss "torpedobreasts"?

I thought that was classic. Do as I say, not as I do.🐭

I agree. I think in a way she thought stay by the boat would be safe for swimming.
