May Wynn wasn't even May Wynn
To make this little bit of trivia even more bizarre, the girl in the book was not even originally named May Wynn. She changed her name to May Wynn from Marie Minotti to promote her singing career. So neither the character or the actress playing her were originally named May Wynn.
