Final Duel - Movie vs Book
The film and the book are both great but I sort of prefer the final duel in the book.
In the book, the saloon is pretty crowded and Wilson tries to make a big show of trying to intimidate Shane and get rid of him. Shane is having none of it and Wilson realizes that Shane is as deadly a gunfighter as he is. Wilson hesitates and it gets to the point where Shane says "I'm waiting, Wilson. Do I have to crowd you into slapping leather?".
Of course, the duel in the film is one of the best all-time.
Shane: I've heard about you.
Wilson: And what've you heard, Shane?
Shane: I've heard that you're a low-down Yankee liar.
Wilson: Prove it...
