Donna Corcoran
Kudos to Donna Corcoran, who was an appealing child actress. I'm skeptical when I watch a classic movie with a child in it, as I often find them overwrought, such as Virginia Weidler in The Women (mother dear, daddy darling!) or Margaret O'brian in Meet Me in St. Louis (chopping off the heads of snowmen, really?)
But I found Corcoran to be an ideal mix of winsome orphan and normal kid. I wish I could have seen her in more films
