Pollys dress -Continuity/Goof ?

When Kettering docks the boat after their morning of fishing so they can but some more gas, a few bottles of beer etc., Polly is the first back down to the boat.
From what I remember, as she walked down the dock and stepped onto the boat, she was wearing a dark blue 3/4 length sun dress. Once on board, shes wearing white shorts and a different top - an entirely different outfit IIRC .... ??
I don't have it on DVD to check back but I definitely remember her walking across the dock and getting on board wearing that dress.
Anybody ???

Regarding the skirt she was initially wearing, she takes it off while the boat is in distress and, eventually, sinking. The top, meanwhile, looks so different as it becomes drenched, therefore comes to look darker and more clingy. When the top and skirt were initially worn together and were dry, I agree that they looked like a dress. But, apparently, they were matching separates.
