Originally made in 3-D?

Got the dvd fr Netflix. Either the disc was bad or...was this movie made originally in 3-D. One other, never released in 3-D, but was made in this process was Hitchcock's Dial M For Murder. Any others?

my favorites are Harlow and Garbo. I guess I'm just an old fashion guy

I realize I'm a little late to the party but...

I'm thinking you're talking about the odd, slightly out of focus look of the colour footage, especially around the edge of frame or background scenery in bright sunlight? I'd wondered about that myself, and turns out it's called chromatic abhoration, and the 3 strip technicolor stock of the time was bad about that. According to the trivia section this is one of the last films made with this colour process, so it was old tech at that point and likely this was one of its major flaws in those conditions (bright sunlight, faraway scenery).
