Is this the movie where...

A Knight rides his horse in a circle (very fast?) causing a villain/enemy/creature to become trapped or die?

Sorry so vague, but I saw a film on tv as a child(late 60s/early 70s) that was about Knights and seemed to be of a more Fantasy'ish setting. (a la Grimm's Fairy Tales sort of feel, I think heh)

Just came across this film's description and decided to ask.

Thanks for listening, I would very much like to find the film...alas I don't have much to go on. I do seem to remember there being Witch/es and magnificent costumes and horses :)

Any ideas or suggestions (if this is not the film I'm thinking of) are greatly appreciated!

This isn't that film. Your description sounds vaguely familiar though. I'll give it some deeper thought.

The only thing that comes to mind right now is the Bing Crosby version of "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court". During the joust, time-traveler Bing, riding a pony, lassos the Black Knight then circles him rapidly, tying him up. At least, that's what my memory comes up with. Either that, or he simply makes him dizzy. *giggle* It seems that it's one of those instances in old movies where rapid movement is accented to a comical degree, whether intended or not.

Let's see if I can find out if my memory has any basis in fact.

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately I don't believe that was the movie. The movie I remember seems much more serious in a classic/authentic...'50s campy kind of way.

But that's for taking the time to reply and think about it some ;)

Maybe I'll narrow it down eventually heh
