sneak preview
I saw this film in a sneak preview at the Leimert Theater in Los Angeles. I would have been about 12 at the time and thought it was very cool. When it was released my friends and I were perplexed by the fact that the alien had changed! Until reading the trivia on this website I wasn't sure that the change had taken place and I didn't notice that the same "original" alien showed up in "This Island Earth". I haven't seen any of these films in 50 years but the memories burn bright and who can forget the music! Theramyn?
