A Pleasant Enough Little Film...
...guaranteed not to offend anybody. The "football number," though, has got to be one of the most bizarre musical numbers on celluloid. Debbie plays the football.

I liked it,except it was WAY too long.
"Hey,Cos,do something!Call me a Cab!"
"Okay,you're a cab."
Yeah that was extremely peculiar seeing Debbie as a football flying through the air and all that. Wasn't a bad number, but very strange.
shareYes, it was enjoyable. I would rate it a 7/10.
shareAlmost won't offend anybody, as there is a brief scene in a dance number where Donald O'Connor is making fun of Asian people (while he is trying on different outfits). It's no Breakfast at Tiffany's, but in today's pc world, you'd never see that scene in a new movie.
Anything with Debbie Reynolds in it is worth watching. Glad I dug it up (not Debbie, the movie).
Glad to hear there's at least one thing in it for 21st century scolds to get pissed off about.
