1) It was a freakin' miracle, but Reva got pregnant with Jeffery's baby - while suffering from presumably fatal cancer, no less. OK women her age have had babies - although most of them need considerable medical intervention to do so. But this is Reva after all... :-)
2) It was because the original suspected killer in Edmund's fake "death" was Reva. Jeffery deliberately put the suspicion on himself instead, and then had to disappear so he wouldn't be caught. And then when everyone knew Edmund was alive, everyone also knew he would be a huge threat to all as long as he lived - especially Reva and Colin, and even more so Marina, Shayne and baby Henry who is Edmund's biological grandson. OK I still don't get why Jeffery has to make everyone believe he's dead - EXCEPT for Reva's son Jon who knows he's alive! OK it makes as much sense as Mallet leaving the wife he loves and who dearly loves him because Shayne has to be a father to their adopted baby??? Like Shayne couldn't have shared custody with both of them??
3) It was all very sweet, but kinda unrealistic to think a woman as CLEARLY heterosexual as Olivia could "go gay". But, in a nutshell, Olivia and Natalia became friends after being rivals for the love of Gus, who was Rafe's (Natalia's son) biological father. Natalia had "won" and Gus was going to marry her when he died in a motorcycle accident. Of course, his heart went to Olivia who needed a heart transplant and she would have died without it. Somehow Natalia became Olivia's best friend and helped her recover from her operation, and they grew very fond of each other. Slowly they realized they felt more for each other than friendship. They were a "family". Natalia fought this, being so strictly Catholic, and almost married Frank to make herself get off the path she was on - but last minute she just couldn't do it. She did become pregnant with Frank's baby during that time. I like to think that Olivia having Gus' heart somehow played a part in her falling in love with Natalia, as Gus had been when he died.
4) Alan only became a complete good guy in the last couple of weeks of the show. He was his normal scheming self until then. He always had that good guy in there. That's why we loved/hated him - because sometimes through the years we would get a glimpse of what was in there, what he COULD have been. Somehow, knowing Phillip was going to die unless he helped him and knowing he could be close to death if he did help him made him finally see what was important in life, and what wasn't. Finally.

Thank you very much! Imagine my surprise when I tuned in and everyone is reacting to Alan's death as if they were actually sad about it. The last time I watched the show regulary, Phillip had recently "died," Alan was still plotting and scheming and Gus and Harley went to New York looking for clues.

Why did Jeffrey fake his own death?
Jeffrey was presumed dead but then stayed dead to pursue Edmund. But Edmund had sent Jeffrey a note , saying that the minute Reva learned that Jeffrey was still alive, Edmund would start killing the kids in their family.
Huh? Who's Edmund's kid?
Shayne had a girlfriend in Bosnia who was killed by a landmine but her baby lived. Shayne never knew she was pregnant. Turns out Edmund was her father. After he found out about Shayne's connection to his daughter He blamed Shayne for her death and then he found out about his grandchild. He vowed revenge on Shayne & his extended family (Reva-Jeffrey-Jonathan-Marina- etc) and said he would take Henry to raise as his own.

Yeah Edmund turned his plan against him. Jeffrey probably had planned on telling Reva when the time was right if he needed to. Like if he had to follow Edmund back to Springfield or something. I think that's why fans figured Edmund would be killed off. So Jeffrey could come alive again.

One more thing.....
I know that Jerry VerDorn left the show due to a dispute over money, but how did they write Ross out of Springfield? Imagine my surprise when I realized that Frank and Blake were becoming a couple when the last time I really watched the show, she was married to Ross.

He was presumed dead in a plane crash, the remains or body was never found. I think Philip had something to do with it. Shame, he was on the show for a long time!

In 2006, Ross scheduled several meetings with Alan-Michael and that spring flew back to Springfield in order to meet with him. Unfortunately, the plane he and his assistant, Nicole Landers, was on crashed. According to the FAA there were no survivors and no bodies were recovered. Although it was suspected that Ross may have been having an affair Nikki, Jeffrey assured Blake that the rumors were just that: rumors.
The reason the plane crashed was:
Ross suspected that Alan was telling the truth about Philip being alive. He set out to find him. Determined not to be found, Phillip asked Rick to have the plane sabotaged so Ross couldn’t take off. Tragically, the plane went up anyway and Ross was killed.
