Last Great Episode Before Finale Week!

For me, its LANDSLIDE...one of the final Inside The Light Wednesday episodes that year (focusing on one character for the entire hour): a cancer-stricken Reva's would-be swan song in which she bid farewell to the people in her life (pretending that she and Billy were leaving town to travel the world together when she really had another suicide attempt in mind!)...aside from her serenading the episode's titular song during a tribute montage, I loved Kim Zimmer's interactions with Harley (passing the torch to "the new tough broad in town") while mayoral candidates Jeffrey & Blake promised Reva that whoever won would take care of Springfield, somewhat forgiving frenemies Alan & Olivia...this was GL at its finest, showcasing Zimmer's best work since her return in 1995: aside from the triangle with Josh & a suddenly psycho Annie, Reva's subsequent gimmicky storylines were truly awful and a waste of one of daytime's all-time greats!
