Dr. Carrington

Anyone ever notice that Dr. Carrington's voice and speaking cadence are almost identical to that of the J. Peterman character from Seinfeld?

I just noticed this, and now every time he has a line I crack up laughing.

"I am not your enemy. I'm a scientist. A scientist who's trying…" THWAK!

I never thought about it, but I do love the character. I crack up when he goes, "If we could only COMMUNICATE with it..."

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

I'm wondering why he doesn't also get electrocuted when they turn on the juice, as his body was partially on the catwalk.

I am convinced he was the inspiration for Jonathan Harris as Dr. Smith in Lost in Space.

Dr. Smith was a loveable jerk though, Carrington was the kind of guy you want to hit..

You're absolutely right, by the way.
