Anybody know where Akra (Acra) is?

Any experts out there know where Akra (Acra) referenced in the opening scene is in real life?

I'm not an expert but I know how to Google stuff. Here is a link I found on the first try. Took maybe 15 seconds. You should try it sometime.

Yeah, I already did that, smart ass. That answer isn't the most logical (if you actually know anything about World War II).

It is the capital of Ghana but during the war it was still a colony & I think it was called 'The Gold Coast'--I THINK that during the fighting in North Africa/Tunisia & the Med, the USAAF & The RAF would ship their aircraft there, assemble them & then fly them 'cross country' to reach Egypt--avoiding the problem of the ships going 'round the cape or trying to fight their way past Sicily.

Why can't you wretched prey creatures understand that the Universe doesn't owe you anything!?

It wasn't clear but I think they said "Akron". There was a lot of small talk between the cast members.

That's what I thught, but the hammock idea suggest Accra, Ghana, though I don't know if they have those there.
