Stanley had never met Blanche?

Blanche talks about how there were so many deaths at Belle Reve and how Stella was only ever there for funerals, but how could Stanley never have met Blanche there? Was it because she was ashamed of his lower class? Seems a bit odd that Blanche never asked to meet him all those years, and how come Stanley and Stella care so much when they find out Belle Reve is lost but never actually contributed any money etc towards it?

Or maybe they weren't married when all the deaths happened. from what I remember they didn't talk about how long Stanley and Stella were married and didn't talk about when the last death was.

I agree. We have no idea how long Stella and Stanley are married. Stella might have moved away from Belle Reve right out of high school or college and met Stanley a year later. I think she's supposed to be about 25 or 26.

They probably werent married for very long before the start of the movie. People generally didnt wait very long to have kids after getting married back then.
