Why do people keep comparing Brando with Hardy?

I agree Oliver Hardy looks nor acts anything like Brando.

Absolutely not comparable at all. Oh sure, no one can match Brando when it comes to yelling Hey Stella, but Hardy is a much better singer. Just listen to him crooning in Way Out West. It breaks my heart every time I hear that sweet rotund troubadour sing On the Trail of the Lonesome Pine.
