"Show Boat" is showing on TCM, Sunday morning at 8am eastern time. Don't know why they are showing it so early in the morning. And they don't say if this is the 1951 or 1936 verion. For those of you who haven't seen this fine motion picture. Do yourself a favor and go to bed extra early tonight. So you can walk up real early Sunday morning to watch this movie. That's Sunday, March 5th at 8am.
sharebut i tell you, half the movies TCM airs has to be musicals.. i thought the woman near the end looked like she was singing at gun threat! also, ava gardner looks about the same here as in a 1970's flick i saw. another thing, when the girl child and the man is dancing, it looks like she's about to get her head kicked.
