I am watching this episode right now on DVD. It is real interesting to see Martin Milner playing a 17-year old high school student who is selling nudie books and naked pictures of girls.

Ralph Moody is also in this one. Instead of his usual old man type character, here Ralph plays a former big-time producer of silent movies who has been reduced to making and selling what passed for pornography in the 1950s. His glued-on miniature handle bar mustache has to be seen to be believed.

Carolyn Jones is also in this one. She was in a lot of these early Dragnet episodes.

I love the ending with the producer on the set where he used to direct westerns in the old days, hearing the sounds he used to hear.

The past is a series of presents. The present is living history we are privileged to witness
